We are looking for a logistics specialist to join our team in Cheb – someone with energy, experience, and the motivation to be part of the development of a new production plant.

We are an automotive company building processes from the ground up and connecting daily operations with meaningful projects.

What is waiting for you

• Management of returnable packaging within the supply chain.
• Design and specification of new packaging solutions for products and components.
• Communication with packaging suppliers and creating technical specifications for packaging production.
• Development and optimization of fixation and protective elements (inserts, fillings, fixation systems, etc.).
• Analysis and resolution of problems related to shortages or losses of packaging.
• Work in the SAP system and management of related data.
• Ensuring receipt of materials into SAP.
• Resolution of differences and discrepancies in material receipt in cooperation with suppliers.
• Cooperation with the logistics, purchasing, quality, production and finance departments.
• Providing support to other departments in packaging management and material flows.
• Creation of reports and analysis related to packaging and material management.

What skills and knowledge should you posses

• education ideally in a technical or logistics field.
• Experience in logistics, packaging management or automotive is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the issue of returnable packaging and packaging processes.
• Ability to define technical requirements for packaging and communicate them to suppliers.
• Experience with the ERP system SAP (knowledge of MRP/MM modules is an advantage).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems.
• Independence, diligence and good communication skills.
• Ability to cooperate across departments.
• English at a communicative level is a must
